We are now taking lists of students requiring residence for the next academic year

Students looking to rent accommodation through Crofton are asked for:

i) proof of identity
ii) a personal reference
iii) a parental guarantee
iv) a personal tutors reference

v) previous landlords reference

Most students who rent through us would be expected to rent for twelve months, from 1 July 2008 through to 30 June 2009. Half rent would be charged for July and August with full rent and responsibility for all utilities beginning on 1 September.

Students renting from us for the next academic year would be expected to pay an administration fee of £80 + VAT per person in order to reserve the property. This fee if not refundable if the potential tenants pull out or are unable to meet the reference requirements. It is refundable should the landlord withdraw. This is the only administration fee payable by the tenants.

Rents are variable, though most work out in the region of £75 per person per week. Deposits are equal to the sum of one months rent plus £150 per person.
